Der Spieler übernimmt zu Beginn seiner Karriere als virtueller Landwirt einen kleinen Hof, den er im Verlauf des Spiels durch den Zukauf von Ackerflächen immer weiter ausbaut und zugleich mit neueren und größeren Maschinen und Geräten kontinuierlich weiter aufwertet. Der Karrieremodus, in den zugleich ein Management-Teil integriert wurde, führt den Spieler durch eine Vielzahl von ackerbaulichen Aufgaben.

Um Erträge ernten und Geld verdienen zu können, wollen die Felder zunächst mit dem Grubber bearbeitet werden. Um möglichst hohe Einkünfte zu erzielen ist die Saat von Weizen, Mais oder Raps im Anschluss ordnungsgemäß zu düngen. Das gereifte Korn wird schließlich gedroschen, dass Stroh zu Ballen gepresst, eingesammelt und eingelagert. Vom Spiel gesteuerte Helfer unterstützen den virtuellen Bauern bei einer ganzen Reihe seiner Aufgaben stets dort, wo es den Einsatz von mehr als einem Fahrzeug zugleich bedarf.

In der großen, frei befahrbaren Welt des Landwirtschafts-Simulator 2012 3D finden sich neben dem Hof des Spielers zahlreiche Ackerbauflächen, ein in die Landschaft integriertes Straßennetz sowie ein kleines Dorf. How To Install Mods For Farming Simulator

Tutorial 1:

Thats a short tutorial to install the favorite mods and maps in your game
First of all you have to download the mod from a specific website.
If the download is a .zip file, you just have to copy that downloaded file and paste it in this folder:

C:Documents and Settings...My DocumentsMy GamesFarmingSimulator2011mods

After that, you can start your game and buy the desired mod from the shop.

The same procedure its needed to install the custom maps made by modders.
Download the desired map, it should be in .zip format, and place it in the same folder:

C:Documents and Settings...My DocumentsMy GamesFarmingSimulator2011mods

If the downloaded mod or map is compressed in a .rar file or other compressed format, first of all you will have to unpack the archive to get the .zip files. After that, place the .zip files extracted from the archive in the folder mentioned above.

Tutorial 2:

When you download a mod file it will usually come in one of three file types.
1. EXE – These are the easiest to install. Once the file has downloaded just double click on it and when it runs it will install itself, done, run the game and test it.
2. RAR – These are compressed files, these can contain any files or folders which have been compressed to make downloading quicker. When the download finishes you need to extract all the files within the rar file. You will usually end up with either exe files or zip files. RAR files are also used for the map downloads and will usually require extracting to your data folder.
3. ZIP – These too are compressed files. Check to see what files are contained within them. If there are zip or exe files then these will need to be extracted and exe files run. If a zip
file contains the mod itself then the zip file needs to be copied into the mods folder of the game.

Don’t forget that if you have the German version the folder names will be slightly different.
Windows XP and later will open zip files but you will need Winrar or a similar program to open rar files. These programs will also work with zip files.
